Karel Groot Oog is the workhorse of our fleet. A sturdy, hard-body vessel designed with open deck space in mind, he is the ideal choice for fishing groups or families who need a bit more room for cooler boxes and beach gear.

Powered by a 15hp engine, Karel offers the maximum power allowed by South African law without requiring a Skipper's License. This makes him our most popular option for self-drive clients wanting to explore our waters.

Capacity & Comfort: While Karel is certified to carry 5 people safely, we highly recommend a maximum of 4 adults—especially if you are bringing fishing tackle and large coolers. This ensures everyone has enough elbow room to cast a line and relax.
